Good vibes

The days seem to be blending into one for me,
I feel like it was just the other day, but it was three weekends ago..type thing
We went to Fremantle prison the other weekend with friends and had such a hoot.
We did two tours- Doing time and The great escapes
I took way to many photos.
It is crazy to think how old the place is and it only shut down the year levi was born,
just nuts!
We had the best guild- She introduced her self as Sally, then when she put her badge on it said Moria.. She laughed and said " I always wanted to be called Sally, so when people as me what my name is I just tell them 'Sally'" , and thats just a taste of how kool the second tour was.
My fave part was hanging in one of the watch towers while the sun was slowly reclining. You could see the whole length of the prison and all the houses around it, casually looking beautiful and old beside this very awful place.
I try to forget the bad vibes of the place.
For this reason my another place which felt nice in the prison was the church in the mens prison.
It was up stairs and had amazing vertical windows which let the sun steam in.
The old organ reminded me of Dad and Mums organ which I use to play on and in!
I hope the church was as calming for prisonors as it was for me.
God does have a good vibe to him, ya know...

before closing some prisoners were allowed to add art to their rooms

this is from the east edge facing west, up on the wall.

outside toilets, added later once buckets were out.

Last weekend levi had a entire day off!!!
We sleept in, NOT he got up and watched some Soccer World Cup at 6AM
I sleept in
We decided to cruse up to Fremantle and Scarborough beach
we found a alternate root which took up to some great beach views, an huge freaky look building which all the windows were smashed in, and a lot of new developed housing units.
Fremantle is very busy in the weekends but for some reason it is relaxed.
The closely built older buildings make being in traffic jams in the town ok.
People watching is so funny, most of the time everyone is in such a mad rush, on sunday in Fremantle they seemed to slow down- FinALLY
After grabbing a german sausage from the Freo markets, we quickly walked to the care which ticket had run out, we had recently discovered Levi had locked the keys in the car, but he had left the window down enough for me to put my hand in, We indeed are blessed not to have things stolen haha
We got a takeaway coffee and gluten free chocolate brownie (sooooo nice, always better when their gluten free) then we headed up to Scarborough.
Watching the sea, the surfers has convinced Levi that he must learn to surf when we get back home.
I can't wait to lay on the beach with a book and watch him play with waves.
Peace and quite and hanging together during the day light hours is such a treat.
I will never take him for granted.
I finished my book in the car, Angela's ashes was an eye opener to how amazing my life is
As we plan to move around to different countries so easily, saving money but still affording to eat, g we really have it good, so do many around us.
Heading on again we buzz into the city centre,
Levi needs a beard and hair trim- Yus a barber is open, he loves the barber I've decided.
Coming out of the chair I can see his smile is from ear to ear, he's groomed which is very unusual for Levi ;)
Heading back to Fremantle we meet friends for Mexican dinner, and it is very very good.
I didn't get the jug of margarita - although if it was sunday i most likely would have.
A whole day off to do what we wanted was marvellous.
