i have decided to start writing my blog again.
(first post is a long one so you can catch up)
not really sure why i stopped, could try and find an excuse but hey lets just get going again.
i feel like I'm starting this fresh
i was going to create a entire new blog, but that would defeat the purpose of why i started so have just changed the user to levi and my middle names as i think they are both kool and he wants to be involved :).
capturing the seasons of life and shearing what we see and do is what life seems to be about in the 2000's.
so here i am, a lot has changed and i plan to up date you on this blog by blog,
better yet my man said he would like to join me on some 'blogging'.
so. here. we. go
levi and i have moved to perth in australia.
why perth, well we both have family here and well why not. can't stay in nelson all our life.
it was a decision we made by a small idea casually while talking with my dad one night, voicing our small idea to a few family and friends, then from their responses we made the jump and booked tickets, this process took about two weeks, give or take two days..
the best thing is knowing that god has our back, over the two weeks of talking to people we both prayed a lot more than we normally would. since making the decision we have both continued to put god into our thoughts and choices. to be frank, it is life altering.
moving is so much fun, i have always liked it, thank you mum and dad for shifting us about 20 times before the age of 15 so now i can do it so well... its not a good thing for people who like to collect furniture, ordainments and clothes. don't get me wrong i loved being a 1950's house wife who made baking and dinner from all my cook books, decorated my house in so so way and went op' shopping to collect more things that would suit my house. but hey that season may come my way again. still i love house mags and continue to dream of a house again.
ANYWAYS
we both have jobs which so far we like.
were getting to know the family over here which we both are loving.
perth is more cultured than i thought.
we have been here 7weeks now (to the day just checked on the calendar)
regarding perth, i have a few observations no once really told me about since getting here, thought id shear.
1) they love to water the grass aka lawn. levi told me to stop talking about how weird it was.
2) ya think its hot at 12 noon, nope it so much hotter at 4pm
3) its normal for everyone to get up at like 5am, well a lot of people we know do
4) birds, so many nice and annoying birds around
5) the apples are bad. i don't even have one in my bag as an emergency food anymore
photos time....
