(doing this from my phone by the way so photos are from phone so not as good )
It's been two weeks and one two days since Levi and I touched down in Germany.
Tanja, my adopted German sister, Tanjas family and her man Basti have been the best host and tour guide.
As I write this we have traveled through part of Germany, Austria and Italy.
We drive out big red van, appropriately named Carla, she gives you a view higher than most cars but limits your movement and parking in big city's.
Best moments so far for myself have been Paderborn's Octoberfest party, Neuchwanstein castle, Salzburg, Firenze (Florence) and Cortona is my very fave.
Levi's best moments have of course been eating German sausages, drinking beer, biking around Lago di Garda and not working!
I try not to compare towns and country scenes to New Zealand.
It is unbelievable to be in this continent after planning to visit almost 10 years ago.
I'm so happy, despite all that has and is happening with family, to be traveling with long time friends and making new friends/family.
I know my Dad and our families just want us to live our dreams.
Sounds cliché but that may be just what it is.
We certainly feel like we are living the dream.
Croissant filled with Nutella = Best thing ever!
We seek these fresh fruit and veggie stars out!
